Last night’s Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon Trivia at Gatlinburg Brewing Company proved one very important thing:
Everybody that showed up could definitely drink like Tyrion… but maybe didn’t know quite as much as Tyrion. 🐉⚔️😂
Congratulations to first place Team Winter Is Coming, who may not have had maester-level knowledge of Westeros, but they absolutely understood the assignment: show up, have fun, yell dragon names confidently, and somehow leave with the dragon eggs. 🥚🔥
Second place went to Team Yankee — aka Bill and Brian — two of our GBC regulars who came in expecting to get absolutely humbled and instead ended up doing way better than they thought they would. Honestly, using “Jon Snow” as your backup answer for everything got them farther than expected. 😂
Somewhere around question 30, half the room started realizing the Targaryen family tree looks less like a tree and more like a circle. By the dragon matching bonus round, we were all just fighting for survival. 🫡
Huge thanks to everybody who came out to drink, laugh, argue over pronunciations, and fully commit to nerding out with us for the night. Y’all made this one ridiculously fun, and honestly… the realm might not survive another dragon trivia night. 🍻🔥
