November 26, 2021, I decided to take the next steps in order to make Wedding Planning my career! A year later and I am so grateful that I did! How did I come up with Do You?

Well, the short answer is my handsome boy right here, Koda.
Now I know what you’re thinking, what does a dog have to do with wedding planning? The answer is a bit deeper than that. When I first got Koda, I had no idea what I was getting myself into! He was the smartest dog I’ve ever owned and still is (don’t tell his sister)! Though he’s a stage 5 clinger, I love how loyal he is and how hard he tries to please. However, I quickly found out that though he was highly trainable, the one size fits all mentality just didn’t work for him, or me!

I believe wedding planning is the exact same way! What works for another couple may not work for you, and to that I say Do You!

Meet your Planner👩🏽‍💻

Hi! My name is Alanna, and I am a Knoxville based, certified wedding planner/ coordinator. In my free time, you can find me on the farm, hiking in the Smokies, walking the streets of Downtown Chattanooga, or cuddled up with my fur babies and fiancé watching CSI. I am the oldest of 5 children, plus I am the only girl, so planning, coordinating and directing are instinct at this point— don’t believe me, ask my brothers! Growing up there was one definite Christmas present that I looked forward to EVERY year, it was my planner! I knew I had a passion for planning, but it was not until recently that I had decided I want to make this a career! I gained my certification in October of 2021, and I have been slowly but surely working towards my dream of becoming a full time wedding planner!
