Over a month healed vs New.
The experience you’ll get at hits that perfect balance. As someone in my 50s, I can tell you it has that old-school vibe I really dig — solid shop energy, no nonsense, just good tattooing. But at the same time, they’re pushing things forward in the industry in a really positive way. It’s a true mix of old and new school.
And for my artist, Cody — you won’t regret going to him.
He takes the time to really listen to what you want. He’s quick with responses, gives honest feedback, and offers solid advice. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s doing and about the piece he’s putting on you.
What stood out most to me was his confidence in his lines. There wasn’t a bunch of short, hesitant passes with the machine. He pulled long, clean, confident lines. That made the session quicker and honestly less painful. And look at them — tight, straight where they need to be, perfect curves where they should be, and bold as hell.
The color is saturated and held beautifully after full healing. The lines define the piece exactly how they should. The shading has that classic old-school feel, with clean skin breaks that let the tattoo breathe instead of muddying everything up.
I highly recommend Riverside and for your next tattoo.
And yeah — prices are competitive. Tattoos aren’t cheap anywhere, but I felt like I got a fair price for high-level work.
