I just came across this Small Business Spotlight from last year and wanted to share it.

Starting Waylight has involved a ton of learning and plenty of equipment and prop purchases that I no longer use. Ha. Courtney, at my local SBDC, was a huge help early on in figuring out some of the logistics, and just as importantly, she was super available and supportive.

Waylight has changed and grown since this was posted and man am I grateful for Courtney and everyone else who has supported this little business along the way. I love what I do, and I love being an entrepreneur. It suits me! ✨

Hailey Beasly launched Waylight Photobooth in Merrill, Oregon, after being inspired by a joyful family wedding moment. What started as a creative side hustle has quickly turned into a beloved local business offering customizable photobooth rentals for weddings, parties, and community events, with unique backdrops and a growing list of repeat clients.

Hailey’s heart for service also shines through her partnership with DHS Child Services, providing free photobooth services for foster care events.

But early on, Hailey found herself facing big decisions. Her adviser at the KCC Small Business Development Center - SBDC helped her assess startup investments and avoid a costly misstep from the outset. Hailey gained additional support by participating in the Smart Start-Up workshop. Today she’s running a thriving business and planning her first hire, with the SBDC still in her corner.

Medford friends — Waylight will be in the area September 25–26, and I have availability for an additional booking or two while I’m there.

If you’ve thought about adding a photobooth to your event, our Simple Experience starts at $195 for 2 hours. It’s a streamlined, self-serve option that gives guests something fun to do together — step up, take some photos, and text their favorites right to their phones.

Already have a balloon arch, backdrop, decorated wall, or themed setup at your event? The Simple Experience can turn it into an interactive photobooth experience without adding the full Premium setup.

Looking for more of the full photobooth setup? Premium options may also be available depending on your event time.
Because I’ll already be making the Medford trip, the normal travel fee can be waived for qualifying bookings that fit my September 25–26 schedule.

Day 3 at the Klamath County Fair! 🎡
One of my favorite parts of having a photobooth is looking through all the smiles, laughs, and goofy poses at the end of the day. It makes all the setup worth it.
If you're headed to the fair this weekend, stop by and take a few free photos! The booth is completely self-serve. Tap the screen, strike a pose, and if your first picture isn't your favorite, just delete it and try again. Once you get one you love, save it and text it straight to your phone.
