I hate that I have to make this post.

Photography is my main source of income. That being said… I do a lot of public events that require me to upload photos in a mass way. I put my logo over the photo for a reason. It is so YOU as the consumer can see your photos and choose the ones you would like to purchase and that i can edit and remove the watermark for you.

I DO NOT ALLOW SCREENSHOTS OF UNPURCHASED PHOTOS!!!!

I am super happy you enjoy my photos. But when you screenshot that photo and choose not you buy it… you are STEALING from me. It is a copyrighted image and this is considered theft. I am a VERY understanding individual… and if you cannot afford to purchase your photos, i am absolutely willing to work with you in some way shape or form. But i am NOT ok with screenshotting my watermarked images. PERIOD!

Unfortunately i am going to have to take steps to protect myself and my business. If you are caught screenshotting and sharing images, i will be sending you an invoice. You will be placed on a list until the invoice is paid. If the invoice is not paid by the next event i see you at, i will not be taking your photos. If you continue to screenshot my watermarked images, i will no longer be taking your photos at any event.

I hate that i have to be this person but it is happening more and more. It makes me very sad because i put in HOURS AND HOURS into my work and for this to happen it feels like the effort i am putting in, is not good enough.
