Did you know?

The Klamath County Fairgrounds operates without any funding from the Klamath County General Fund — meaning no property tax dollars are used to keep our fairgrounds running.

Instead, we’re supported through facility rentals, state lottery funds, hotel-motel tax, and Fair Board contributions. This funding model allows us to host the Klamath County Fair each summer, welcome year-round events, and be ready as an emergency response site when our community needs it most.

A self-taught photographer based here in Klamath County, Anonda has a gift for capturing genuine moments, whether it’s the spark in a rider’s eye, a candid smile, or the details that make an event unforgettable.

Her work at this year’s Fair, and the events surrounding it, has been nothing short of exceptional. With a passion rooted in rural life, travel, and storytelling, Anonda’s lens reflects sincerity, heart, and an appreciation for life’s simplest beauty.

Behind every great Fair is a great community.

To every volunteer, temp staff member, school group, safety officer, and support crew, thank you. From security and fire to EMTs, landscaping, sanitation, and beyond, your efforts helped make the 2025 Klamath County Fair one of our best yet.

Your dedication, teamwork, and pride in this place are what keep the Fair growing in quality and experience every year. We’re honored to keep calling it YOUR Fair, Klamath County.

With deep gratitude and admiration, we recognize Dawn McLing for 19 years of unwavering service to the Klamath County Event Center and Fair.

Dawn’s steady presence, visionary insight, and tireless dedication have helped shape this Fair into what it is today. Her leadership, wisdom, and hands-on commitment have left a lasting mark not just on the Event Center, but on the entire Klamath County community.

This weekend, we presented Dawn with a commemorative plaque and 19 roses — one for each incredible year of her service. She hasn’t just been part of the team. She’s been part of its legacy.

From all of us, thank you, Dawn. You are an inspiration.
Let’s continue to build on the foundation you helped create.

The 8th Annual Alternative Stock Show Classic at the Klamath County Fair was truly something special.

Children and adults with intellectual and developmental differences from across Klamath County came together to show livestock, make new friends, and share in moments of joy, confidence, and connection. With the support of dedicated volunteers and community leaders, this event continues to showcase the heart of the Fair, inclusion, compassion, and celebration of every individual.

A heartfelt thank you to the many partners who helped make this event possible, including Shearer Images, OSU Extension, 4-H, the Klamath County Fair, KCDDS, and others who contribute their time and care each year.

We’re honored to host this meaningful tradition and look forward to seeing it grow for years to come.

What an incredible close to the 2025 Klamath County Fair.

From 4-H and FFA shows, to the midway magic, local vendors, carnival thrills, concerts, and community, this week was unforgettable. Through it all, Klamath County and the surrounding areas showed up strong, making this one of our best fairs to date.

To every volunteer, staff member, entertainer, vendor, maintenance crew, sponsor, executive leader, and our amazing Fair Board, thank you. You make this event possible, and we’re beyond grateful.

Saturday brought the HEAT and Klamath County answered.

Blue skies, big crowds, and nonstop motion from morning till night. The carnival was buzzing, families were everywhere, and the fairgrounds were alive with energy, laughter, and the kind of connection you only get when a whole community shows up.

Then came Buckcherry.
The John Hancock Arena - Pavilion was packed.
The crowd was wild. And the sound rolled across the fairgrounds like a freight train. It was loud, proud, and everything a Saturday night should be.

Earlier in the day, the Alternative Stock Show Classic stole hearts, showcasing the grit, passion, and pride of our local youth and AG families. It’s events like this that remind us what the Fair really stands for. (more to come!)

Huge thanks to the Klamath County Fair Board and Partners for making it all happen and for delivering an incredible experience without costing our local taxpayers a dime.

Let’s carry that energy into tomorrow.
