Good morning,

Cooler heads than mine have to prevail. After assesment of physical conditions of the roadway at the race location just now (at 2 am) we have to cancel. An even more dangerous and direct impact is supposed to be right at 8am. The safety of participants, staff and equipment has to be maintained. Your shirts and medallions will be available for pickup this morning from 6:30am - 9am at The GYM located at 3712 N. Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949. We are sorry for the let down.
