I’ll be one of 12 chefs making a duck dish as part of the return the Duck & Wine at Duck Woods on Nov. 2, 12-3pm. A limited amount of tickets have been made available to the public if you would like to join in the fun…12 duck dishes, 12 wines, even a duck-free zone with some non-meat items. Always great to partner with Beach Food Pantry as well.

Check out my duck dishes in the Fall issue of the . You’ll get to try one or more of these and other area chefs’ duck creations, along with a dozen wines at the Duck & Wine Fest at on Sunday, Nov. 2 from noon til 3pm. Tickets are currently available to club members AND their guests. So now might be a great time to consider joining Duck Woods membership, or making friends with some! 😁

Great find this past winter as I was shopping for cookbooks for my team…found one right up my alley as well. Indian-(ish) is not only a great guide on the basic style of Indian cooking and developing great flavors with spices, but also a heart-warming read on an American family. Featuring dishes from the book for tonight’s tapas!

Happy to be bringing local NC oysters back to our Saturday pop up oyster night, tonight featuring Slash Creek oysters from Hatteras farmed by Katherine McGlade & Spurgeon Stowe. It’s been a rough past year for many NC oyster farmers with challenging weather conditions resulting in a significant crop losses. Delighted to see them on the rebound!
