🐾 A Small Organization Making a Big Difference 🐾
Many people don’t realize that our local humane officers are volunteers who dedicate countless hours responding to reports of animal neglect, abuse, abandonment, and animals in need. They often do this with limited resources and little recognition.
Humane Animal Allies exists to support Armstrong County’s two volunteer humane officers by helping provide supplies, equipment, training, and resources they need to protect animals in our community. The organization also works with shelters, veterinarians, law enforcement, and the public to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
What I love about this organization is that they don’t just help animals—they help people, too. When possible, they work with pet owners who genuinely care about their animals but may be struggling financially or facing difficult circumstances.
If you’ve ever been grateful for an animal rescue, a neglected pet receiving help, or someone stepping in when an animal had nowhere else to turn, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps provide food, medical care, equipment, transportation, and support for animals who need a voice.
