The Audition: A Short Play
Book by Don Zolidis

Lights, camera... audition! Join our Homeschool Young Actors Program as students bring the hilarious comedy The Audition by Don Zolidis to life. This engaging production gives young performers the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen acting skills, develop stage presence, and experience the excitement of rehearsing and performing a full play in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether your child is new to the stage or already loves performing, this program focuses on teamwork, creativity, character development, and theatrical storytelling while preparing for a live performance.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Program Dates: September 8 – October 20
Tech Week: October 26–29, Times 10-12
Final Performance: Friday, October 30 at 7:00 PM for family and friends
Admission will be donation-based.
Location: Due to our continued renovations our fall rehearsals may take place offsite and we will continue to update the group.
Tuition: $150
Ages: 11-17

Osceola Arts is proud to present an exhibition of photographs by Madison Wilkins at Buenaventura Lakes Library as part of our Art in Public Places program.

Madison Wilkins has dabbled in photography for many years. Originally working with a 35mm film camera and now a digital SLR camera, Wilkins continues her photography journey despite life’s curveballs: the theft of her equipment, a battle with cancer, and a coma.

Wilkins is interested in preserving moments, made precious by their ephemerality. “The ultimate action of making time stand still is a photograph. So much is happening all around us with every precious moment. So many of which simply pass us by going unnoticed. Through my work I aim to capture those fleeting instances of beauty or excitement. Maybe share a peaceful or quiet moment of reflection, but always being aware of a possible spontaneous occurrence. I hope these little snippets of time can transport you, however briefly, to another place and mindset.”

The exhibition is on view at the Buenaventura Lakes Library (405 Buenaventura Blvd) from August 13 to October 22 during library hours.

Osceola Arts is proud to present the works of Kiana V. Ware at West Osceola Library as part of the ongoing Art in Public Places Program.

Kiana “V.” Ware is an Interdisciplinary Artist based in Orlando, FL who has sold over 300 commissioned paintings across the globe. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, V. paints to remember, to heal, and to transform people, places, and feelings. Her work is a prayer and a reflection — a dialogue between past and present, between self and spirit. For V., art is not a destination but a continuous act of becoming — a return to the wonder of the inner child, free, fearless, and endlessly creating.

Self-taught, V. started off painting t-shirts in Atlanta, GA and founded her company in 2008. She has since grown a full-service graphic design firm serving black and brown communities and has reached over $2M of art products and services sold. She holds an Associate of Arts in Business Management, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology, and is currently attending the Savannah College of Art and Design pursuing her Masters in Business Innovation.

In this exhibition, V. presents her series of paintings called Bourne Sinners. The series explores the space between condemnation and grace, questioning the narratives that define who is deemed worthy, redeemed, or irredeemable. Through portraiture, symbolism, and layered visual storytelling, each work examines the complexity of human existence—the ways in which we simultaneously embody beauty and brokenness, divinity and imperfection.

The exhibition is on view at West Osceola Library (305 Campus St.) from August 11th to October 27th during library open hours.

Osceola Arts is proud to present the artworks of Pamela Allbright at Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library as part of the Art in Public Places Program.

“A self-taught mixed media artist based in Central Florida, my creative journey began in childhood while admiring my grandmother's artwork. The seed was planted early. With roots in Antigua, her pieces were alive with the colors, festivals, music, and cultural richness of our Caribbean heritage. That legacy continues to shape my own artistic voice.
I create from the heart, often exploring the beauty, complexity, and sometimes harsh realities of Black culture, history, and resilience. My work celebrates our people, our stories, our strength, and our spirit-through mixed media, torn paper, acrylics, fiber, fabric, sand, and other textured materials. I see art in everything, and creating is both my passion and my language.

My hope is that my work touches others in ways that uplift the community and affirm the power of Black artistic expression as a testament to how strong, vibrant, and enduring we are.”

The exhibition is on view at Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library (810 13th St.) from August 5 to September 28 during library hours.

Osceola Arts is looking to celebrate the rich history and accomplishments of the Hispanic population in Central Florida with the annual Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibition at Kissimmee City Hall. Central Florida is home to a vibrant community of Hispanic artists with diverse respective practices who are all invited to apply for their work to be shown.

The exhibition will run from September 14 - November 13, 2026, highlighting the creativity and individuality contributed by Hispanic artists to Central Florida’s cultural heritage.

Eligibility: Artwork must be created by Hispanic artists living and creating art in Central Florida.
No fee to apply.
All mediums accepted.
Artists must be 18 or older and a Florida resident.

Osceola Arts does not take a commission on works for sale. Deadline to apply: August 26 at 5 pm.

Kissimmee City Hall showcases artwork created by Florida artists, providing artistic and cultural displays to engage and enrich the community. All artwork submitted will be reviewed for suitability based on community standards and should be practical for a public space that is open to people of all ages.
