Princesses have always been so special to me, but I never really felt like I truly resonated with any of them. That was until I saw Frozen 2 when Elsa sings Show Yourself and sings:
“I have always been so different, normal rules did not apply. Is this the day? Are you the way I finally find out why?
Show yourself. I'm no longer trembling. Here I am, I've come so far.
You are the answer I've waited for all of my life.”

I don’t think there is a better for way to express how I felt growing up undiagnosed autistic and then how I felt upon getting my diagnosis.

Elsa lived her whole life feeling so different and isolated from everyone else, but then when she realizes why she is different, she feels understood, at home, and finally gets the answers she’s been searching for. For years, she covered up what makes her different and tried to fit in. But then she realized that what makes her special isn’t something to hide or something she needs to fix, but something that can be used for good and should be celebrated.

That is why I started Magical Wishes Entertainment - so I could use my strengths as an autistic person to connect with others on the spectrum and because our differences are something to celebrate, not hide or fix. 💖
