🎸 Jason Brown – 8:00 PM
Midwest native Jason Brown has built a loyal following through hard work, powerful performances, and genuine country roots. Growing up in rural Iowa, Brown's music reflects small-town values, hard-working Americans, and the experiences that connect country music fans across the heartland. As an independent artist, he has charted multiple songs on Billboard and MediaBase Country Charts while performing for hundreds of thousands of fans throughout the Midwest and beyond. His high-energy live show and rich vocals make him the perfect way to kick off Friday night's entertainment.

Hailing from Warner Robins, Georgia, Travis Denning has become one of country music's most recognizable singer-songwriters. He first gained national attention with his Gold-certified hit "David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs" before earning a No. 1 Platinum-certified smash with "After A Few." Known for blending modern country with Southern rock influences, Denning has also written songs for artists including Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, and Cody Johnson. Friday, July 17th at the 2026 NEMO Fair is packed with livestock competition, family fun, carnival excitement, and an unforgettable night of country music!

The day begins bright and early as exhibitors check in for the Rabbit Show and Beef Show. Young exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their hard work in the Beef PeeWee Show and Beef Show before the fairgrounds transition into an evening full of entertainment.

Families can enjoy the Kids Games & Contests, while fairgoers take in the sights, sounds, and excitement of the midway as the carnival opens from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The Beer Garden opens at 6:00 PM, providing a place to relax and enjoy the evening.

As the sun sets, all eyes turn to the Grandstand for a fantastic night of live music. Jason Brown takes the stage at 8:00 PM, followed by rising country star Travis Denning at 9:00 PM. Known for hits like "After a Few," "ABBY," and "David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs," Travis Denning delivers a high-energy country concert you won't want to miss.

Tuesday at the 2026 NEMO Fair is packed with livestock, competition, and rodeo excitement!

The day kicks off with two outstanding livestock events as exhibitors showcase months of hard work and dedication during the Sheep Show and Poultry Show. From first-time exhibitors to seasoned competitors, these shows highlight the commitment, responsibility, and agricultural excellence of our 4-H and FFA youth, along with open class participants from across the region.

As the sun sets, the action moves to the arena for one of the fair's most anticipated events — the Outlaw Rodeo at 7:00 PM! Experience the thrill of bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, roping events, and family-friendly entertainment that brings the excitement to Kirksville.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 12th and kick off Fair Week with a day full of family fun, community spirit, and future fair royalty!

👶 Kids & Baby Show – 10:00 AM This year's theme is "Fly Me to the Moon" 🌙✨ Preregister through the NEMO Fair Queen Pageant page or register at 9:00 AM the morning of the event.

🎤 Speech Contest – 1:00 PM Come cheer on local youth as they showcase their public speaking talents.

👑 NEMO Fair Queen Pageant – 4:00 PM

Lovingly dubbed the “PR Princesses,” the NEMO Fair Queens are far more than pretty faces wearing crowns and sashes. They are proud ambassadors of the NEMO Fair, elected to represent the values, traditions, and community spirit that make the fair so special.

Throughout fair week, they welcome fairgoers, sponsors, exhibitors, and visitors with hospitality and kindness. They attend events across the fairgrounds and proudly serve as storytellers of the fair each year through photographs, social media, and community engagement.

Their role extends beyond the local level as they also represent the NEMO Fair at the state level, promoting the traditions and impact of county fairs across Missouri. However, their greatest priority is representing their hometown communities with pride.

Throughout the year, they participate in local events, support community initiatives, and strive to uphold the fair’s creed by encouraging positive impact, leadership, and service. The NEMO Fair Queens proudly support local businesses because they know these businesses are the heart of what keeps communities thriving and the fair enduring for generations to come.

They are the NEMO Fair’s PR Princesses, and they carry that title with great pride — always striving to represent it with dignity, kindness, and a servant’s heart. - With Love Cortney ❤️
