Serving the Eastside Seattle community, LaVida provides exceptional dance education for toddlers through adults in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Our offerings include group and private classes, events, and performances across a wide range of styles: ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, acrodance, and breakdance. Every student has the oppo
rtunity to shine on stage twice a year: in our Winter Showcase and our full-scale, high-end Annual Production/Recital. YOUTH Dance Programs (Ages 2–18)
LaVida offers a vibrant selection of dance styles for kids and teens, including our award-winning Twinkle Star Dance™ program for preschoolers (ages 2–6). From recreational to performance and competition levels, all classes are taught by experienced professionals. Students explore modern styles like hip-hop, jazz, acrodance and contemporary, as well as ballroom latin. We offer private coaching, performance opportunities, and spots on our Youth Performance & Competition Teams (ages 6–18) who train in jazz, hip-hop, ballroom latin, and contemporary. ADULT Dance Programs (Ages 20–90)
Join a dynamic, welcoming community of adults, from beginners to seasoned dancers. Whether you’re looking to get fit, make friends, perform, or celebrate a special occasion, LaVida is the place to be. We offer social dance classes in Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Ballroom, West Coast Swing, and Hip-Hop. Want to take it to the next level? Our Adult Performance Teams empower women to discover their confidence and artistry, even if they didn’t grow up dancing. Ladies of LaVida Team blends cardio, stretching, and Latin Fusion styles. Bacheetahs Ladies Team focuses on Bachata choreography, musicality, ladies styling, and fluid body movement. Other Services
