Una de las cosas más bonitas de conservar y atesorar son nuestras tradiciones, en Venezuela cada región, cada familia puede darle su toque especial y particular a su Hallaca.

Nosotros en Warapo Food nos tocó desde que emigramos llegar a una receta que nos hiciera sentir más cerca de casa, recordando lo que aprendimos de nuestros abuelos, padres y amigos.

Cada año con la misma alegría estamos listos para ofrecer el plato que protagonista de la navidad venezolana.

Hallacas

We are so happy to show you a bit of our rich food culture 🇻🇪😀

My grandma María Melania teach us how to make this delicious Hallacas for the holidays, now as immigrants we feel the honor of shared with other generations and preserve the tradition 🫶🏼

Fun Fact
We usually make this dish on Christmas (a lot of parties) and the tradition is all the family together (with music and drinks) everyone with different task 1 of them also maybe the less fun of all is to clean the banana leaves in Venezuela there really fresh but really dirty too (nightmare) once hangover 😵 straight from the party 6am my whole family waiting for me and of course I have the obligation of complete my task clean a bunch of banana leaves 😥 help with everything else until the end, today I’m so grateful for all that knowledge (hard work)
