✨ AI vs. Reality ✨
I wanted to share this because I know AI can be a controversial topic, especially in the event industry. Personally, I believe it all comes down to how it’s used.
For me, AI is simply another editing tool. In this example, the lighting was brightened, the room was cleaned up, distracting blemishes and imperfections in the venue were minimized, and the overall image was polished. The actual setup was not changed. Every balloon, every backdrop, every detail is exactly as it was on event day.
As event decorators, we can’t control every venue. Sometimes there are scuffed walls, harsh lighting, clutter, or distracting backgrounds that take away from the work we poured our hearts into. Editing those distractions isn’t any different to me than adjusting brightness, contrast, or removing a random chair in an iPhone edit.
Where I draw the line is changing the actual design. Adding balloons that weren’t there, making arrangements bigger than they were, changing colors, or altering the work itself creates a false representation of what a client can expect—and that’s something I’ll never do.
I believe AI should enhance the presentation of your work, not create work you never actually did.
Transparency matters to me, so I wanted to show both versions and let you see exactly what changed… and what didn’t. ✨
