This might not be technical therapy per se (we're not claiming to be therapists - we ain't), but in claywork, the bilateral, sensory-rich hand movement matters: malleable clay gives constant tactile feedback, and there's a long-standing idea in occupational and art therapy that this kind of grounded, embodied activity helps regulate the nervous system and pull attention out of the head and into the body. Got stuff going on? Make art. Grieving? Make art. Depressed? Make art. Doing just fine? Make art. It breaks down to $20 a session for members (total class price due at signing up - $120 for members, plus $25 clay fee). Turns out that making pretty stuff with your hands is good for you. :)
