Tis the Season, I’m still choosing gratitude.
Not the surface-level kind, but the deep, steady, soul-anchoring gratitude that reminds us who we are… and Whose we are.
This season can pull us in a hundred different directions — expectations, deadlines, comparison, and the quiet pressure to “perform” our way through December. But today, right here, I’m slowing down long enough to breathe, laugh, and remember that joy is still available… even when life gets heavy.
In this picture, I’m standing next to a familiar character wrapped in chains — and it made me laugh because don’t we all feel like that sometimes?
Carrying things we were never meant to hold…
Dragging old stories… old fears… old labels…
Forgetting that God called us to freedom, not frustration.
So this year, I’ve choosen this kind of deep dive:
✨ Gratitude over rushing
✨ Purpose over pressure
✨ Identity over insecurity
✨ Gifts over deficiencies
Because the truth is — We are gifted.
Not by accident, not by luck, but By Design.
You carry strengths that were shaped through your journey, your faith, your perseverance, and even your pain. And when you slow down long enough to see them, honor them, and use them with intention… everything shifts. Your leadership shifts. Your relationships shift. Your mission shifts.
This season, may we all release the chains we no longer need…
And choose gratitude, purpose, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing we were created on purpose, for purpose.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Here's to closing out the year with grace, joy, and meaning — not the past distractions.
