💋 BOSSY MOMS CLUB — TODAY I CHOSE ME! 💋

Today I decided to do things a little differently. First, I stepped outside the box and dyed my hair BURGUNDY! 😍❤️ I was scared because change isn’t always easy, but I did it anyway—and Lacey hooked me UP! I absolutely LOVE IT! 🔥

Then came the real growth… 😂

Instead of sitting through Spider-Man today just because the kids wanted to see it, I sent them to their movie and decided to go see Insidious. 👻🍿

Now, if you know me, you KNOW I’m overprotective! 😂 I would normally sit right there in the theater with them—even if I had absolutely NO desire to watch that movie—because Momma needs to be close by. 🤣

But today I reminded myself:

I am allowed to do things that make ME happy too.

I am allowed to have my own interests.
I am allowed to enjoy my own time.
I am allowed to trust the children I raised.
And I am allowed to step out of my comfort zone without feeling guilty about it.

Because Bossy Moms Club, let me tell you something…

It can’t ALWAYS be about everybody else. Sometimes, Mama has to be the priority. 💅🏽

We spend so much time taking care of everyone, making sure everyone is good, and putting ourselves last that sometimes we forget that we deserve to have fun too!

So today, I got my burgundy hair, sent my kids to Spider-Man, and went to watch a scary movie by MYSELF. 😂❤️

And guess what?

THEY’RE GOOD. I’M GOOD. AND MAMA IS HAVING FUN! 💃🏽🔥

Blooming Again 🌻 Motivational Monday

This morning, I looked outside and saw something that stopped me in my tracks—a broken sunflower blooming again. 🌻

Its stem had been bent. It had weathered the storms. It looked like it had every reason to give up… but there it was, lifting its face toward the sun and blooming anyway.

And honestly, I needed that reminder this morning.

Sometimes life bends us. Sometimes the storms break pieces of us we thought were strong enough to withstand anything. There are seasons when we wonder if we’ll ever feel whole, beautiful, or strong again.

But maybe blooming doesn’t mean going back to who we were before the storm.

Maybe blooming means becoming someone even stronger because we made it through.

That broken sunflower reminded me: you can be bent and still bloom. You can be bruised and still grow. You can weather the storm and still find your way back to the light.

So, Bossy Moms Club, this is your Monday reminder:

🌻 Don’t count yourself out because you’ve been broken.
🌻 Don’t mistake a hard season for the end of your story.
🌻 Keep reaching for the light.

Because sometimes the most beautiful blooms are the ones that come after the storm.

And if my broken sunflower can bloom again this morning… so can we. 💛🌻

My peppers are getting SO BIG in the garden, and honestly… I feel like there’s a life lesson in here somewhere. 😂🌶️

You plant the seeds, water them, give them some sunshine, pull the weeds, and then one day you look up and think, “Wait… HOW did you get this big?!”

Kind of like motherhood. We pour into our kids, guide them, protect them, boss them around a little (okay, maybe a lot 😅), and then suddenly they’re growing into these big, beautiful humans right in front of us.

And maybe the lesson is this: growth takes time, consistency, patience… and sometimes a little bossiness. 😉

Anyway, I’m off to admire my giant peppers and pretend I have my life together. 🌱😂
