The Hudson Valley Flyers are a Classic Country & H***y Tonk band playing the hits from ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s era Nashville and Texas. They cover the music of Grand Ole Opry stars like Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Webb Pierce, Bob Wills, and many more.

Dress in your finest country attire and dance the night away with us!

Join us for Woman(ish), an improv show featuring a generation-spanning troupe of women and non-binary individuals from throughout the Hudson Valley. On Friday, November 7th, we’ll be shown a mix up of unrehearsed (and sometimes unhinged) true stories with completely improvised scenes. All Woman(ish) shows are 100% produced, directed, and performed by women and nonbinary individuals!

Then take the stage and try out a bit of improv yourself at the mixer that follows the performance!

Undertow Brass Band, formerly known as What Cheer? Brigade, is an energetic party band from Providence, RI, USA. They are loud, tight, & love to dance with crowds, offering mobile moments of intense revelry. Their music includes covers and originals, taking inspiration from genres ranging from Balkan, New Orleans, & other global brass traditions, as well as electronic dance music, classical, & pop. The band emerged from the Providence underground music scene in 2005, inspired by the unlikely overlap between the intensity of punk rock and brass. From these origins, the band developed its original sound, with one foot in Balkan tradition, the other in the American punk scene.

Conical Cacophony is a Boston-based brass band delivering Balkan-inspired dance jams. Dazzling horns! Blazing beats! With heavy influence from the music of Macedonia, Serbia, and Bulgaria, & a penchant to party, these rabble rousers will light up any stage or street.

Unicorn Bar and Reflections on a Silver Screen are thrilled to present a free screening of AMERICAN PSYCHO with special guest on Wednesday, October 15th at 7pm.

It’s New York City in the 1980s, and investment banker Patrick Bateman (a stonily delectable Christian Bale) is living a glamorous social life while harboring dark, violent secrets. You see, he likes to kill people — whether girlfriends, coworkers, or strangers on the street. It’s how he gets by. After all, how else can a promising, mild-mannered capitalist get his rocks off in this workaday world?

Featuring a supporting cast that includes Willem Dafoe, Reese Witherspoon, Samantha Mathis, and Chloë Sevigny, this is a campy, gorey, and q***r-coded classic that’s sure to get you in the Halloween spirit!

And stick around for a post-screening conversation with American Psycho co-screenwriter Guinevere Turner! A bon vivant as well as a q***r filmmaking legend, Ms. Turner’s credits include Go Fish, The Watermelon Woman, and The L Word. She will be interviewed by , a Kingston-based q***r filmmaker, and take questions from the audience.

Unicorn Bar and Reflections on a Silver Screen present a trio of Sapphic cinematic classics to round out the year! 🍂📽️

On Wednesday, October 15th, we’ll scare up some Halloween goriness with AMERICAN PSYCHO, featuring a post-screening Q&A with screenwriter and q***r filmmaking legend Guinevere Turner.

On Saturday, November 29th, we’ll hold space for a post-Thanksgiving (dancefloor) breakdown with the messy, melodramatic fashion world flick GIA, to be followed by a Madonna-themed dance party.

And on Saturday, December 20th, join us for the warm-hearted contemporary q***r classic, PARIAH — a tender coming-of-age drama that’s a perfect fit for end of year reflection and celebration.

All of these screenings are FREE! Co-presented and hosted by , a Kingston-based q***r filmmaker and writer who can’t wait to share these fabulous films with y’all. See you at the movies! 🍿😘
