This year I’m serving more LGBTQ+ couples than ever before, and that means the world to me.

What it tells me is that people are paying attention to who is genuinely creating safe, welcoming spaces and who is simply checking a box. Because allyship is bigger than a rainbow logo during Pride Month. It’s about showing up, standing beside people, amplifying their voices, and supporting their right to love openly and authentically all year long.

As a wedding officiant, I don’t just want every couple to feel accepted, I want them to feel celebrated.

So thank you, C & M, for trusting me to be part of your day. Your love, your joy, and the way you showed up for each other was beautiful to witness. I’m honored to have stood beside you as you started this next chapter.

Cheers to a lifetime of love and being unapologetically yourselves. 🏳️‍🌈✨

Last summer, M & T’s ceremony brought me out to Bainbridge Island, a place I swore I’d never revisit (that’s a story for another day), and gave me an opportunity to create a new memory. Beneath the shade of a big beautiful tree these two shared their vows and brought their families together. I’m grateful to them for choosing me as their officiant and wish them all the best.

Stop #1 of my 2026 Venue Tour Series ✨

Come with me to some of the venues I get to work in—starting with the in Kirkland.

This one stays in rotation for a reason. You get that Lake Washington view for the ceremony, but still a sense of privacy with the tent (best of both worlds). Cocktail hour flows so well here—guests inside, guests outside, everyone vibing—while the couple sneaks off for a little boat ride moment.

And for this particular wedding, smoked cocktails + mocktails that actually feel fun, not like an afterthought 🤌🏾
