We are SO excited to share that BANQ Events has officially been voted Best Event Venue in the Kingsport Times News Readers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026! 🥹

And probably the craziest part? We haven’t even officially been open for a full YEAR yet.

In less than a year, we’ve watched this space become home to weddings, showers, birthdays, fundraisers, networking events, community events, celebrations and so many moments in between. We took a chance on creating something we felt Kingsport needed, and the way this community has supported BANQ from the very beginning has been incredible.

Thank you to every person who voted for us, booked with us, walked through our doors, recommended us, shared a post or simply told someone about BANQ. 🤍

It’s finally here! Boots & Bling: Boot Scootin’ on Broad is happening TONIGHT during Fun Fest at BANQ Events, and we’ve brought together some of the best line dance instructors in the Tri-Cities!

⭐ Meet Your Instructors

🤠 Appalachian Boot Scootin’

Tasha & Jamie Proulex have been line dancing for the past five years and currently teach at multiple venues across the Tri-Cities, as well as private events. Along with line dancing, they’ve studied and instructed pattern partner dancing and regularly attend workshops to stay up to date on all the latest dances.

Katelynn Durand is an assistant instructor at The Stockyard in Bristol and also teaches line dance lessons at the Rogersville VFW. She is experienced in everything from absolute beginner dances to high-intermediate choreography, making her a great instructor for all skill levels.

💃 Line Dancing with Carla

Carla has dedicated the past 30 years to fitness and dance instruction, teaching at universities, local schools, and venues from Damascus, Virginia, to Johnson City, Tennessee. Certified in numerous dance and fitness disciplines, her greatest joy is seeing people smile, have fun, and express themselves through music.

We’re bringing a first-ever Fun Fest experience to downtown Kingsport! Join us for Boot Scootin’ on Broad: Boots & Bling Edition, an evening filled with line dancing, live performances, rooftop views, friendly competitions, and unforgettable memories.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never stepped onto the dance floor, this event is for everyone. Grab your boots, bring your friends, and help us kick off what we hope becomes a new Fun Fest tradition!

The ultimate competition combining standout style with dancing ability.

👑 Broad Street Bling King & Bling Queen
A couple will be crowned for bringing the biggest personality, confidence, sparkle, and western glam to the event.

Competitions will be held across multiple age groups throughout the evening, with winners and prizes announced during the event.
