Tired of the overcrowding of our home🤷‍♀️

this was shared with me:

A newly formed group is addressing tourist overcrowding issues in our communities. They are forming a coalition that will stretch across many counties to have a unified voice. Please help them get started this weekend through Tuesday by documenting the overcrowding issues you see -- in photo, audio, video and/or written word: trash, litter, traffic congestion, crowded public places, illegal camping and fires, excessive noise, safety issues, etc.

By Tuesday, Aug. 4 at midnight, email your digital material to [email protected]. Include text that gives TourismInBalance all rights to use this (photo, audio, video -- whatever it is). They will make a collection of images, avoiding duplicates, to use in support of action toward improving both resident lives and the tourist experience. This may include posting the material on social media. Once posted, this documentary effort may take on a life of its own. Your name will not accompany your photo

More to follow in the coming weeks and months. We all need to help document what is going on and help create change that will benefit those who live here, tourists experiences and help the environment. I think it's safe to say that for those that live here it's been a shock to see not only so many people here during the pandemic but the incredible increase of traffic/garbage, etc.
