This weekend a wonderful couple came from Ohio to visit Belle Grove Plantation.

He selected our location for their special moment together.

He proposed... She said yes!

There is just something about our riverview sunsets that inspires romantic!

Who says weddings only happen on Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

This wonderful couple started their wedding day here with the couple sleeping in separate rooms at Belle Grove Plantation at Port Conway. Then this morning, the bride spent the morning in the Turner Suite with hair, makeup and family while the groom and best man dressed downstairs and relaxed in the library.

Then it was off to the church and a small family reception.

This afternoon the returned to Belle Grove for afternoon sunset photos followed by a delicious dinner in their room.

Tomorrow morning, they will relax and sleep in until breakfast is served in their room.

What a great way to start our wedding week!

The couple selected the Two Day Honeymoon package for their stay.
