Sorry I didn't post my return trip from Williamsburg to Richmond. It was uneventful, but good, except the wind shifted and we had a headwind again. Got back to Richmond and went directly to Stone brewing, which was wonderful.

So 4.5 hours riding today, and 3100 calories burned. Richmond to Williamsburg. Was a nice ride. Had a nice lunch at pretty much the only place open on Monday around the half way mark. A few historic sites, but didn't stop to check them out. Now off to dinner and early sleep and another 54 miles back to Richmond tomorrow.

Starting the first bike trip of the year. Taking the Amtrak from DC to Richmond today, left at 7am, oof! Some tooling around Richmond today, highlights most likely Final gravity brewing and the GWARbar, and a Japanese garden.

I figured out how to dress warm enough, but not too warm, in mid 30s weather. Some pics from a couple days ago, not my best but had some issues with a fence that was too dense. These pics were in Tyson's Corner/McLean and the weather was in the 40s, so a little warmer than it is now with a low of 8 last night.

I finished getting all the free beers I can get with my pub pass. 26 miles today.

Another great ride this past Thursday. Went from Greenbelt Metro to Baltimore. Road by BWI on the BWI trail, which was nice and new to me. Hit a few breweries for my free beer, thanks to the Pub Pass, highly recommended. Did see a woman about to fill her needle from a spoon along the Middle Branch trail by the horse shoe casino. Was running late, got a late start, but got 38 miles in and ended with dinner and a beer at The Brewer's Art. 3 hours of pedaling. 2300 calories and the most climbing I've ever done!
