POV: You’re the wedding planner and the bride!
I’d been hesitant to share too much from my own wedding planning process, not wanting to take the focus away from our incredible clients, but now reflecting on this experience, I realize it has been such a game changer for me. I’ve learned so much about what it means to be on the other side of the process — the emotions attached to every decision, the impossibility of cutting down the guest list to hit your ideal number, the struggle to decide which aspects to prioritize in order to stick to the budget, the list goes on.
I’ve helped so many couples create their dream day, and this time, it was mine. I’ll be carrying this experience with me for a very long time — both the incredible high of living out my dream wedding weekend and the empathy and understanding that comes with standing in the clients’ shoes for a year+.
Now more than ever, I’m walking into this next season of weddings with fresh eyes and an even deeper commitment to making the planning process feel meaningful, manageable, and joyful for each of you.
