La Co**ha opened its doors on January 22, 1926. At the time, a room cost just $3 a night, and guests could add a steak dinner for 35 cents.

Over the next century, La Co**ha became part of Key West history:

📖 Ernest Hemingway referenced our landmark tower in To Have and Have Not.

🎭 In 1947, Tennessee Williams finished writing A Streetcar Named Desire at the hotel.
