Before I close my pages after our last wedding next weekend, I felt like I needed to explain the closing of Cate Tenopir Events. We will be welcoming our 2nd daughter in about 3 weeks and so excited for the new chapter of our lives. I poured so much of my attention into our weddings, taking time away from my family and I only took 2 weeks off after P was born. She came to her first wedding at 2wks old and came to work with me until I enrolled her into daycare. I’m so excited to enjoy the moments I missed the first time around, praying I’ll be able to breastfeed longer and hoping to deal with my postpartum a lot healthier.
To all of my past Brides, Grooms, Vendors and friends I’ve met in the wedding world...I wish you all the best and hope to keep in touch. I’ll be closing this site soon so if you wish to stay connected, follow me on my personal page .

I’ve been quiet, haven’t shared personal things and normally only post wedding related items. BUT I need to spread information to as many people as I can. I would want someone to share if it was my daughter.

Please pray for Alexa. Please pray for a miracle. Her mom, Liz, was my neighbor growing up and my babysitter. H1H is a horrible disease, Alexa is still fighting and needs her miracle . 💜💜💜

It’s been an amazing past 4 years! ✨

I have so many amazing colleagues, vendors and couples to thank! I have grown, experienced and learned more than I could have ever imagined. This is all bittersweet.

I will be completing the weddings I currently have on the books and wanted to share that I will not be taking any new bookings. However, I will be referring any inquires to some amazing keys wedding planners! ⭐️💜
