Today is Art Ball 2026 at the Dayton Art Institute, the staff at Kohler Catering can’t help but look back with so much gratitude at the beautiful memories, thoughtful details, and incredible energy that make this event so special year after year.

Art Ball is truly one of those magical evenings where creativity, elegance, food, flowers, music, design, and community all come together in the most unforgettable way. We are always so honored to be part of it, for so many years.

While guests see the first dance, the beautiful tables, and the seamless flow of the evening, there's a dedicated team working quietly behind the scenes to make every moment feel effortless.

At Kohler Catering, some of our favorite moments happen in the spaces guests never see—making last-minute adjustments, straightening linens, polishing glassware, checking place settings one final time, preparing trays, calming nerves, sharing smiles, and making sure every detail is exactly where it should be.

Then comes the moment we all pause for.

As the music begins and the newlyweds step onto the dance floor for their first dance, our team often finds a quiet corner to watch. Not to interrupt the moment, but to admire it. To see months of planning come together. To witness two families becoming one. To remember why we do what we do.

Congratulations to Caroline & Nick Bertram on the beginning of their forever! What an absolute honor it was for Kohler Catering to be part of such a thoughtful and elegant celebration at beautiful Benham's Grove.

From the soft blue and ivory color palette to the romantic garden-inspired florals, every detail reflected Caroline and Nick's warm personalities and timeless style. Guests were welcomed into a stunning reception space filled with delicate floral linens, glowing candlelight, classic bentwood chairs, and breathtaking arrangements that blended soft white blooms with touches of beautiful blue. The result was a celebration that felt both sophisticated and wonderfully inviting.

The menu was just as memorable, featuring a fresh Sunburst Salad with citrus vinaigrette, herb-crusted beef tenderloin, Chardonnay chicken, butternut squash ravioli, garlic parsley potatoes, cheesy risotto cakes, and fresh asparagus—creating a dining experience that brought family and friends together around the table to celebrate love.

And that cake! The incredible four-tier masterpiece from Love Cakes was truly a work of art, showcasing stunning hand-piped details and craftsmanship that perfectly complemented the elegance of the day.

Events like these are a reminder that weddings are about so much more than beautiful décor—they're about the people, the stories, the laughter, the happy tears, and the memories created with those you love most. An evening filled with elegance, romance, and breathtaking detail ✨🤍✨

This stunning celebration at Presidential Event Center was the perfect blend of timeless luxury and modern sophistication. Guests were welcomed into a glowing ballroom filled with cascading crystal chandeliers, soft candlelight, shimmering champagne sequins, and lush white floral installations touched with delicate blush roses.

The sweetheart stage became the true centerpiece of the evening — framed with dramatic floral arches, sparkling drapery, glowing chandeliers, and an ornate ivory and gold loveseat designed for royalty. Every layer created a dreamy, romantic atmosphere that felt straight out of a luxury wedding editorial.

From the elevated floral centerpieces dripping in crystals to the gold charger plates, champagne sequin runners, elegant place settings, and glowing dance floor, every detail was intentionally curated to create a warm and unforgettable guest experience. Even the cake display was transformed into a floral masterpiece overflowing with cascading white blooms and soft romantic textures.

There is something truly magical about seeing a vision come to life so beautifully — the glow of the chandeliers, the sparkle of gold accents, the softness of florals, and the joy shared by family and friends throughout the evening.
