Giannos Hospitality Group, in partnership with Eastchester Venue Partners, is looking for an Assistant Director of Catering & Hospitality Operations who is hungry to grow, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has extraordinary attention to detail. This is a hands-on operational position — not a desk job.
Our business extends beyond traditional catering. Our hospitality operations include weddings and special events, catering, event venues, venue sales and management, and luxury short-term stays. We are looking for someone who wants to learn all sides of the business and grow into greater responsibility as our organization continues to expand.

What You'll Do
* Assist with planning and executing weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and other catered events
* Work directly with clients throughout the planning process
* Assist with event timelines, floor plans, menus, rentals, vendors, staffing, and logistics
* Participate in client consultations, tastings, venue tours, and sales appointments
* Assist with wedding ceremony and reception coordination
* Help lead event teams through setup, service, event ex*****on, breakdown, and cleanup
* Maintain exceptional standards for service, presentation, organization, and guest experience
* Work closely with catering, culinary, venue, sales, and operations teams
* Anticipate potential problems and solve them before they affect the client or guest
* Assist with event and venue sales, inquiries, follow-up, and client relationships
* Support day-to-day event venue operations
* Assist with the operations, sales, and guest experience of luxury short-term rental properties
* Manage multiple events, clients, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
* Be willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver an exceptional experience

Experience We Value
Previous experience in one or more of these areas is welcomed and strongly desired:
* Catering operations
* Wedding planning or wedding coordination
* Event planning and ex*****on
* Wedding or event venue operations
* Event or venue sales
* Hospitality management
* Luxury guest services
* Luxury short-term rental or vacation rental operations
* Short-term rental sales
* Restaurant or food-and-beverage operations
A degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, Event Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
We are interested in experience, but we're equally interested in attitude, work ethic, judgment, attention to detail, leadership potential, and the desire to grow.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Hospitality doesn't operate on a traditional Monday-through-Friday schedule. Candidates must be comfortable working **evenings, weekends, and other hours dictated by weddings, events, and hospitality operations. This position is based in High Point, North Carolina, with regular travel to catered events, managed venues, and hospitality properties throughout the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas.
