FRESNO COUNTY — The Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Pave Tech Inc., announces the State Route 180 Rumble Strip Project in Fresno County to begin Thursday, June 25th, 2026.

This project will install rumble strip along State Route 180 in Fresno County between just east of Blythe Avenue and just east of Goldenrod Avenue, and Modoc Avenue and Belmont Avenue.

The rumble strips will be installed along the shoulder and centerline throughout the project limits and are designed to alert distracted drivers and prevent roadway departures.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while travelling in the construction area. Please be alert for Road Construction Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”

The City of Kerman Parks and Recreation Department invites all Kerman and Fresno County residents to celebrate with us Family Health & Fitness Day on Saturday, June 13, and discover how we are building a strong, healthy and resilient community through the power of parks and recreation! Organized by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), Family Health & Fitness Day promotes the importance of local parks and recreation in keeping communities healthy and promoting well-being. Take a look at some of the amazing activities that will be happening at this year's at Katey's Park on Saturday, June 13!
