This story is so true about weddings...it's good to expect the unexpected....
"There are 30 days ‘til my wedding, and I’m thinking about toilets
Alex and I picked an iconic church in Budir, Iceland for our wedding: The Black Church.
As soon as we picked the spot, I started daydreaming…
💃🏻about how the pictures are going to come out,
💃🏻the artsy picnic we’re going to have after the ceremony that’s gonna wow the guests,
💃🏻how my hair is going to look with my dress,
💃🏻What champagne we’re going to drink for the toast
Oh how fun it was to get swept up in these details!!
And then…we got an email from the only hotel in Budir: they were canceling our reservation because of renovations.
I didn’t think anything of it until my mom said, “wait-where are people gonna pee?!”
The only public buildings in Budir are the church and the hotel.
There’s no bathroom in the church, and the hotel is closed.
OMG, no bathrooms!!!😱...."
Thank goodness renting what you need is an option! Problem solved until the next one, lol!
