We were so excited to welcome an NBCUniversal archivist to the Kent State University Museum today to prepare Glinda and Elphaba costumes for a special museum display, in celebration of costume designer Paul Tazewell’s visit to campus.

The Kent State University Museum is thrilled to welcome Akron-born Paul Tazewell—the Oscar, Tony + Emmy Award–winning costume designer—to campus, as part of the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series, in partnership with the School of Fashion and School of Theater.

🎭 Public program: Thurs, Sept. 18 | 6–7:30 p.m. at the E. Turner Stump Theater, moderated by Aleah Wright. Free with registration (link below to register).

🎭 Original “Wicked” costumes for Elphaba + Glinda, designed by Tazewell, on view at the museum Sept. 11–Nov. 9.
