Hi Facebook 👋 we owe you a little catch-up…

While we’ve been posting over on Instagram, Blacktail Events has been moving fast. We’ve officially passed our first round of inspections!

Now we’re onto the fun part—drywall, paint, flooring, tile, and all the finish work. Things are about to come together quickly.

Big thanks to Alete Concrete and David McClinsey, we officially have a bar top 🙌

Can’t wait to see people sitting here one day. It’s all starting to feel real.

Hi Kent! We’re Blacktail Events, a new event space opening in Summer 2026.

Since the city approved our plans back in November 2025, we’ve been hard at work renovating to bring you a modern space right in the heart of downtown.

Founded by two local families with deep roots in Kent, Ohio, opening this space is more than starting a business—it’s an intentional investment back into the place where we grew up, became friends, and found community.
