Busy Busy Busy!
What have I been up to?
Where do I begin? I had the Office Show at the beginning of March, followed by another event.
I have since hosted the 3rd Basingstoke event and busy planning the next one which is on the 10th April.
I am now the event manager for World Doodle Day and am honored to be part of the collaboration between the founder Jude Price and our new recruit Robert Hickman.
I have picked up 2 new clients and am thoroughly enjoying working for them and I have a couple of ideas in the pipeline which will be revealed in due course.

Bit of a dichotomy. As I have children the snow is a positive factor but having 3 events in London this week it is decidedly a huge problem. Snow please return on Sunday when my week of traveling is complete.
Busy finishing final preperations for the Office Show in Olympia London tomorrow and Thursday where I will be supporting the Global PA Association and an event for Population Matters entitled more feet more heat?London at Conway Hall, London, on Saturday. However this does mean after this week I will have room for a new client, therefore if you require support with project and or event management please contact me.

Had a very productive week, gained a new client and will be supporting them as project and event manager for their military style boot camps and Conquer Food Program, being held all over the U.K. Getting prepared for the second Basingstoke event and in the last month of supporting Population Matters with their event on climate change and how the growing population effects this. I have also just been asked to support a client at the Office Show at Olympia for the 2 day event. Also making plans for World Doodle Day which will be taking place in October.
I love being a working mum and am taking my Saturday to ensure I am prepared for my busy week ahead. Happy Saturday.

Good morning all.
You know when you're committed to your business when you work over the weekend.
I have 2 exams next week and a meeting in London so that means I will be away from my desk for 3 days next week so I have to make this time missed up from somewhere.
As I said to my family I don't get paid if I don't work and I don't really mind as truthfully I love what I do.

Coming to you in Basingstoke!
Linkedin Local is a meetup concept created by Anna McAfee, Eric Eklund, Alexandra Galviz and Manu Goswami with the purpose to gather people from all walks of life, in one facilitated event to genuinely get to know the humans behind the online profiles, and connect beyond the job titles, business cards, and company names.

Gill Fountain and I are bringing this event to Basingstoke and want to gather some information on how many local people and businesses would be interested in attending this?

We are aiming to run these on the 1st Monday of the month starting from 6.30-8.30pm so the first meeting will be on Monday 4th December, location to be confirmed.

Eventful day.. had a conversation with a client and I suggested I reduce their hours as seemed the most ethical and productive choice to make for their business. I also decided against going to a meeting to discuss a months worth of work as it wasn't the right decision for my family ( inside information makes me believe I would have been offered the contract) and another one of my clients is reducing her hours.
You would think this would have been an unsettling and upsetting day, it was for the most part.... however a mixture of the universe being kind to me and me using every part of my being to be positive, lead to later in the day, being rewarded with a new client, potential for a bonus and more regular work from an existing client.
The lesson for today? Be true to who you are and what you are truly passionate about and have faith in your own convictions and the right thing will come along.. X

What an eventful and fulfilling week. Mums in Business networking event on Monday 16th with a House of colour presentation by Melanie Plotkin, followed by Best Practice Show at the NEC for Practice Index on Wednesday and Thursday. Then to end World Doodle Day and Connecting Biz collaboration on Friday at Enham Trust with Jude Price, Barbara Payne and Tabitha Gray. Wow! I am exhausted but excited for the future of my business and the partnerships that have been made.

I feel very excited about the next couple of weeks, particularly next week. Monday is the Women in Business networking lunch at the Apollo Hotel, then Wednesday and Thursday I will be at the NEC in Birmingham supporting Practice Index Ltd at the Best Practice Show. Then I have the honor of joining Jude Price of Creative Conundrums and Barbara Payne of Digital House at Enham Trust for World Doodle Day on Friday 20th October Day. Busy week.
