After a hiatus, the Kemper Center's "Art of the Car" car show is back on the Kenosha lakefront on Saturday., Aug. 23. The show serves as a fundraiser for children's programs at the Anderson Arts Center.

🎒💛 Our backpack drive is still going strong, but we’re not quite where we hoped to be yet. As we head into August, this is something we truly looked forward to… helping kids start the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

The new school year is coming quick, and currently, too many local kids still don’t have the supplies they need to start strong. We’ve collected some donations, but unfortunately it’s not enough.

If you’re able — please consider donating a backpack or any school supplies. No gift is too small. Every pencil, notebook, and folder is a building block toward a brighter future for a child.
