Tonight and next week!

Lend Me a Tenor is a fast, door-slamming comedy by Ken Ludwig, set in a grand Cleveland hotel suite in 1934.

Directed by Xander Lih

We welcome performers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Roles are open to a wide range of adult ages (21+).

If a character speaks to you, please come read for us!

Eight roles are available.

Auditions will be held July 6 & 7 and 13 & 14 at 7 pm in The Mystery Theatre located at 7425 West Clearwater Ave, Kennewick.

Show dates are September 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th

The Roles:

Tito Merelli (“Il Stupendo”): The world-famous, hot-blooded Italian tenor. A role suited for actors ready to present a big personality with operatic flair.

Max: The neurotic assistant with a dream of his own. Looking for an actor ready to deliver a transformation from nervous to confident.

Maggie: A romantic dreamer, Maggie wants to experience life’s full adventure. This role requires emotional warmth with a mischievous touch.

Saunders: The frantic opera company manager. Saunders worries that disaster is always around the corner, and is often right! A good role for someone that can give increasing amounts of exasperation and confusion.

Maria: Tito’s passionate, sharp-tongued partner. A scene-stealing role with fire, requiring comic timing and stage presence.

Diana: An ambitious soprano. A confident, playful comic role with sparkle.

Julia: The flirtatious grand diva. A scene-stealing character that’s pure fun to play.

The Bellhop: A star-struck hotel bellhop looking for their big break. A small part with huge comic potential. A bold character not ready to take “no” for an answer.
