I love the name of this recipe. My Grandmother Hodges gave all of her grandchildren a box of
her handwritten recipes. The name of this dessert makes me giggle; it has since the first day
I read this recipe in my box. Just saying “Lemon Fluff” makes me smile. It evokes memories
of the gracious entertaining world of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Lemon Fluff pulls together easily
accessible ingredients and creates an excellent dessert. I love the tips at the end of the recipe.
This recipe also teaches you how to make a lemon curd. Lemon curd can be used to fill small
tarts, as an icing for pound cake or as a topping on ice cream. My grandmother loved lemon
desserts because they are generally light and refreshing.
