What a PRIVILEGE it was to photograph not only one of my favorite authors, but also one of my best friends .drbarnes 📖 the woman, the myth, the legend-but also the artist, the mother, the wife, the store manager, and all around GEM of a human. You’ll never meet another capable of loving and supporting the way she does! Yesterday’s sesh was like Silent Library but make it ✨girlie pop✨ If you’re a reader (and honestly even if you aren’t), do yourself a favor check out one of her published novellas, there’s a spicy something for everyone 😉

It never fails that Texas will be in the 80°s and heckin’ humid UNTIL Sarah and I figure out our session deets and it drops into the low 50°s with insane wind EVERY YEAR 🤣 the littles were so excited to play in the sand and water that they couldn’t even bother to care that they couldn’t feel their toes. Here’s to the next five years of dreamy family photo sessions with the Bobens ✨

Meet Your Photographer

Hey! I’m Ari, the gal behind the lens. Jordan is my husband and high school sweetheart, and together we run a small zoo made up of two wild, but kindhearted toddlers, a feisty cat, two rescue pups, six chickens, and hopefully one day a fluffy cow. I was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and while I’ve called many places home, NW Arkansas is where my heart is at. I get my best work done sitting out back with my MacBook and a cup of coffee with way too much cream, watching my littles run and play. Most ask, but no, I’m not a natural redhead (even though the porcelain skin and hazel eyes might tell you differently). I decorate for Christmas the first week of November (sorry, not sorry), which is usually the start of my annual Gilmore Girls Netflix binge, too.

During your session with me you can expect to laugh, cry, run, twirl, climb, and cuddle. My dream is to create a gallery that you feel and remember, photos that will take you to a time of laughter and love. Not only am I a photographer, but also a dreamer, chaser of light, lover of love, capturer of laughter, and I can’t wait to tell your story.
