LONG POST ALERT
This past weekend at was truly one for the books! You all SHOWED UP in the most incredible way, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me clear out so much inventory. It was an amazing turnout at one of my favorite venues, but also a bittersweet one, as it will likely be one of my last events as a vendor.
For those who may not know, I’ve been quietly working on a major shift in my business model over the past year. These changes mean I will no longer be participating in markets or events, and while I may revisit handmade items in the future, I will no longer carry wholesale inventory (which means I will be closing my Painted Tree shops).
This decision didn’t come lightly. After some tough conversations with myself, I realized that the sacrifices I was making as a mom weren’t worth anything I could gain in business. About six months ago, I started pivoting, creating new ventures, and reimagining the future of this business. I’m so excited to share what’s next when the time is right, but for now, I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude. 🫶🏻
Thank you for supporting me over the past five years, for shopping small, and for helping me close this chapter on such a high note. 💖
I have one more event this weekend in Waxahachie, and after that, I’ll begin selling all remaining inventory at 50% off! To make this easy, I’ve created a private Facebook group for those of you looking for crazy good deals on all the things I have on hand. If you’d like to join, shoot me a message, and I’ll send you the link! Inventory “purging” begins next week. 🤗
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey—I couldn’t have done it without you! 💕
