4-H Garden Day at Cheshire Fairgrounds
June 26, 2025
If you are a Cheshire County 4-H Club or independent member, Cheshire County 4-H is inviting you to help build and decorate your own garden bed for the Cheshire County Fair! Clubs and groups of independent members will have their own beds they can decorate with donated flowers, and create a sign so that fair-goers can admire your work! Bring your own shovels, trowels, gloves, and watering cans -- we will provide the rest. Let's show Cheshire County how we bloom and THRIVE in 4-H, making their fair experience even more beautiful and enjoyable. Email [email protected] for more information.

The May 18th Cheshire County Open Horse Show was a success! Even with looming daunting weather conditions, 4-H'ers and non-4-H participants showed their early-season best! It's nice to be back at the Cheshire Fairgrounds, getting ready for the summer 2025 season. Thank you to all who participated, and a fantastic "wow" to our volunteers who continue to guide and support these horse events and the talented, growing members participating in it. A big shout-out to Diana Stetson for putting this show together -- we will miss your guidance next year!

They spoke, gave demonstrations, exhibited talent in posters and photography ... but most of all offered their courage, integrity, intelligence, and hearts. We are SO proud of you, 4-H'ers!
