We squeezed in a Bloomerang Gives Back today as well!
Our recipient is Marquetta Atkins!

"I would nominate Marquetta Atkins, Executive Director of Destination Innovation, a dynamic nonprofit based in Wichita, KS, for your Give-Back Bouquet program.
Marquetta is, without a doubt, the kindest person I know—she has a huge heart and has poured herself into making Wichita more inclusive, compassionate, and vibrant. As the founder and ED of Destination Innovation, she’s built an incredible hub of youth leadership initiatives that aim to empower underserved young people across our community. Their programs include Camp Destination Innovation, which teaches entrepreneurship, STEAM, and offers camps and competitions to connect youth with career pathways, mentors, and real-world opportunities. Under Marquetta’s visionary leadership, the organization also fosters civic engagement through Root the Power and Rise Up for Youth, and addresses public health and safety via a Cure Violence initiative DI+1
Marquetta’s dedication goes beyond programming—she mentors youth, collaborates with local leaders, and continually works to dismantle barriers facing young people and women entrepreneurs."
