Liz, Founder + Lead designer of Bridal by SHL, has been sewing since college. She opened her business in 2020, amidst all the chaos, and has grown into a 6 person team. Since then, she has been helping nearlyweds from all over the northland feel confident + comfortable in their wedding attire.
When she’s not at work, sewing away at her machine, she’s at home with her three pups and her husband, crocheting and reading. 🐶🧶📚 (or hanging out with her team because she can’t get enough of us🤭🤪)

Selissa, our alterations manager, has been sewing majority of her life, having picked it up at a very young age. She’s our go to zipper girl, and has her very own band-aid budget (for obvious reasons).
When she’s not at work, stabbing herself with a seam ripper, she’s at home wrangling her 7 kids around town, crocheting, or hosting craft nights🧵

Our seamstresses take great pride in their work, and truly love to work on each and every gown that comes through our doors. Being able to help couples feel their best on such an important day is a privilege we never take for granted. 🤍
