She recently started her 28th year with Van Abel's, and says her favorite part of the job is getting to know more and more people every day (she considers Van Abel's customers like a second family). When asked her favorite menu item, Jeannie said the BBQ meatballs 👌

Something you may not know about Jeannie is outside of work, she's a flower gardener, and her favorite flowers are peonies 🌸

A few months ago we updated this area with new drywall, carpet and furniture. We have one more project for this area and this is where we need your help. We are going to hang 4 monitors on the wall and create a permanent slideshow of all the weddings we have hosted or catered at Van Abel's. (It's been 76 years since the main hall was built ) So if you have a picture of your wedding at or catered by Van Abel's we would love to have your wedding picture in our slide show. We estimate there are close to 5,000 couples that we have had the pleasure of being part of your special day. We hope you can find some pictures that include old Van Abel's wall coverings or even the old stage.
