JJV Event Decor was inspired by my grandmother Juanita Jumamoy Villamor, who uses JJV as her initials. She always encouraged me to show my talent especially with flower arrangements. She always bragged to everyone, who were amazed of the beautiful floral arrangements I did, that it was me who made the arrangements. The artist side of me always comes out especially when I am thinking and being insp

ired by her. My arrangements started with floral designs offered to my late grandfather’s grave, then to table center pieces. When I came to the US,

I started doing floral arrangements, handcrafted decorations on weddings, birthdays, baptism, bridal and baby showers of my friends and coworkers. I make unique birthday boards and projects in the hospital I am working, where my projects were published in our newsletter. Upon seeing all my decorations and set up, they always told me to start a business, where I can share my talents to everyone and make their events more memorable thru my designs.After I finished my short course in floral designs just recently, I decided to push thru this business so I can make everyone’s event stylish, personalized and memorable. JJV Event Decor strives to offer unique, personalized services to customers who are planning to have an event or any special occasion like Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Weddings, Baptism, Birthdays and Company events of any size. Customers can share their ideas, plans, visons and theme of an event personally with the designer. Events can be at the comfort of the customer’s home or any event places.

The Stage Backdrop.

The stage decoration was inspired by our President Mila Sprouse 's Mantra, Bold and Unstoppable symbols, the Magnolia leaves and flowers and the Hummingbirds.

The logos of our organizations were also displayed.

Thank you to my Decoration Committee and there families for helping me set this up and to everyone who helped us with the decoration. We risked our lives climbing and putting up the backdrops right ate Doll Acero , kuya Errol lol..

The colored metal stands represented the night skyline ( buildings ) of downtown Houston. On top of it, the floral arrangement of the magnolia flowers and dried magnolia leaves ( that took me 2 months to collect even if i am allergic to magnolia leaves, that i had to wear mask inside my car and took benadryl after i harvested them ) sprayed with silver by Vi Trinidad-dioneda to represent the Steel Magnolia.

The backdrop were black roses ,hydrangeas and sequin fabrics that represented the dark moments of the pandemic but despite of that we still continued to shine. In between those black roses and hydrangeas were white flowerets that represented all the hero nurses, who passed away during the pandemic.
