Maui. You hold such a dear place in my heart personally. In 1998 I went to Maui for the 1st time. Had an amazing summer with my Papa who had churches in Lahaina and Kihei and I was blessed to paddle canoe for . Met so many amazing people and felt so connected I decided I wanted to stay on Maui and go to high school there. Living on Maui was absolutely amazing. So many great memories and life long friends made there. My Mom and youngest sister still live on Maui and I go as often as I can to visit. (Mom & sis are safe 🙌🏽🙏🏼) I am so heartbroken to see what has happened this past week with all the brush fires on Maui. All we can do is pray. Pray for more people to be reunited with their loved ones, pray the death toll stops rising, pray for healing, pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding, pray for rain, pray for Gods right hand over Maui🌺 I have never met a person in my life that has been to Maui say anything less than “I love Maui, it’s my favorite island!”🫶🏼

My heart goes out to each and every single person on Maui, each person who has ties to Maui, all the first responders. I’m so sorry you are going through this, just know that we are all praying for you ❤️ God thank you for giving us Maui and the opportunity to show the world what prayers can do.
