Baby Grayson’s first birthday at the iconic Royal Hawaiian Hotel was filled with family, tradition and the sweetest details — with lion dancers making an unforgettable entrance to officially get the celebration started.

We love celebrations like this because event design isn’t only about how everything looks. It’s about creating moments that mean something to the family and memories their little one will grow up seeing in photos for years to come. 🤍

Meet Malachi Ahia of Malachi Ahia, the newest member of our Agency Collective ʻOhana — and an incredibly talented 21-year-old Native Hawaiian violinist bringing a fresh sound to Hawaiʻi’s wedding and event scene. 🌺

From ceremony entrances and first dances to cocktail hour and private celebrations, Malachi takes songs you already know and transforms them into beautiful live violin moments.

And at only 21, we have a feeling this young Hawaiʻi artist is just getting started. 🤍

We’re excited to introduce one of our Ohana Collective partners, Drink Gazoz — bringing fresh, colorful cocktails made with all-natural ingredients and an aesthetic that looks just as good in your wedding photos as it tastes.

Because cocktail hour isn’t just the time between “I do” and dinner. It’s the first chance for your guests to mingle, sip something delicious, and take in all those little details you put into your day.

At The Agency Collective, we specialize in creating the overall event experience — pairing our clients with some of the best vendors and creatives in Hawaiʻi to bring every part of the celebration together. 🤍

When your wedding theme comes with a little prehistoric personality. 🦖🤍

These adorable dinosaur cake toppers were such a perfect little detail because they felt completely them. And then we realized the dinosaur love went even deeper…

The bride had a dinosaur tattoo.
Her coordinator had a dinosaur tattoo.
And her photographer had one too. 😂🦕

At that point, we knew we had the right crew.

This is exactly why we love personal wedding details. Your wedding doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s Pinterest board. Put the things you actually love into it—even if that means dinosaurs on top of the wedding cake.

Because the best details are the ones that make your guests say, “Yep… that is SO them.” 🦖💍

There’s something about ending the ceremony with a little drama—your guests cheering, the photographer ready, and that just married moment happening right down the aisle. 🤍

Fun fact: A dip kiss isn’t actually a traditional wedding requirement—it became popular because it creates such a cinematic, celebratory moment for photos. And when it’s timed right after the pronouncement? 📸 Pure magic.

Our tip: practice it once before the wedding. Decide which direction you’re dipping, hold on tight, and give your photographer a few extra seconds to capture it.

Because if there’s ever a day to be a little extra with your kiss… this is it. 💋

Just married… now make a run for it.

Trevor + Amitty’s getaway moment was the perfect ending to their celebration—walking through their people, hopping into their decorated getaway car, and officially heading off into married life. 🤍

Fun fact: The wedding getaway car tradition goes back more than a century. Guests would tie shoes—and later cans—to the newlyweds’ vehicle to make noise as they drove away, a tradition associated with sending the couple off with good luck. Today, it’s become one of the BEST photo moments of the night. ✨

So yes… plan the entrance. But don’t forget to plan the exit.

Because sometimes the last 5 minutes of your wedding make some of the best photos. 🚘
