The Shivers Story

The summer of 2015 we (Jenny and I) had a dream of starting a small business in Cass County, MO. The plan was to launch a 50's diner but we quickly realized we didn't have the capital for a brick and mortar store. The thought was to make a place where friends and families could go, have fun and enjoy each other. After tons of thought and heaps of prayer we landed on the idea of a shave ice business.

The new plan was set, we'd launch Shivers in 2016 and just hope that people would buy into the idea. Wow did they!

We are so thankful for the community that has been behind us since day one, supporting us when the lines were more than 45 min long and cheering us on when we launched new flavors. From the beginning we had fans chasing us all around the Metro to get Shivers treats.

We love the Shivers community and are thankful for all of you who have supported us and helped us cultivate a family friendly environment where sharing a picnic table with strangers to talk about life has become the norm.
