Getting second place in chicken in Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest was totally awesome today. We dont have to talk about ribs, corrections will be made going forward. We didn't get stuck afterwards and even made it back in time to watch our Kansas City Monarchs take on the Milwaukee Milkmen on jurassic park night. This is a great Father's day weekend.

Calm before the storm. This was/is a family affair watching Friday the 13th under the stars after 3 out of 4 kiddos competed in kids que out here at Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest. Yours truly Ro-Ro is up next.

Went to Iowa and got destroyed. Really good competition up there. I thought i had chicken finally figured out and then BOOM bottom of the barrel, back to drawing board I guess. Had a fun time nonetheless on to the next one.

It was a busy but fun past two days. Got to take my youngest son to Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest friday where he competed in his first kids que. He made some rockin'Robyns and got 5th place so proud of this dude. Today was my turn. I took 8th in chicken(still a struggle for me) and 1st place!!! in ribs using none other than that , boy was that nice. Have to thank my sponsor O.G. Bandits BBQ using those rubs have boosted my scores and confidence. Also big shout to Smokey Bey's Barbecue on his GC he cooked his ass off today. Congrats to all who heard their name called. Welp, Ro-Ro's was at it again this weekend at the trowbridge fly-in BBQ competition. Had an awesome time cooking, watching planes take off and people jumping out of them. Chicken cook wasn't the best but I did manage a 2nd place rib call. SHOUTOUT Swine-O-Licious Competition BBQ Team for being perfect today and their GC and team B for their RGC and all the other teams that heard their name called today.
