This will be The Dance Factory's last post on Facebook...

We are closing our doors at the end of this year and want to thank everyone for making this journey so fun and rewarding!

Since we began we've been honored to perform for literally, hundreds of thousands of guests at weddings, festivals, in Arrowhead and Kaufmann Stadiums, and parties and celebrations around the globe.

I also want to thank my Wife of over 30 years, Bunny, not only for supporting me as this business started, was moved, and restarted, but also for being the greatest Hype-Gal you could ever want at an event; getting even the most reluctant of guests on their feet and dancing; teaching folks to line dance and creating an atmosphere of real fun.

We are so happy that we have been able to help so many couples reschedule their celebrations cancelled last year because of COVID restrictions. Congratulations to Annabelle and Josh Jordan on their beautiful Wedding on Friday! The Ceremony was held outside at Legacy at Green Hills and because of COVID guest attendance restrictions we needed to perform back-to-back Receptions to ensure all 300 guests could attend. They even had decorative hand-sanitizers on each table. It was a super-fun event and they are an amazing couple!

It's not often you get to see the Groom and his Groomsmen wearing Kilts at a reception; especially in a Conga Line. That's exactly what happened at Micheal and Flora's. They had a traditional Irish (Bride) and Scottish (Groom) Wedding and it was Super-Fun! (and one of the longest Conga Lines we've had in a while)

We are so glad that the Wedding Venues are back in full swing and we are all taking the precautions necessary to try and keep it that way. The key impacts affect space configuration (table positions), releasing only one table at a time for dinner service and social distancing in the Dinner Service and Refreshment Lines.

These are small impositions, but they haven't put a damper on everyone having a great time!

Here's a fun video shot at Lauren and Blake's Wedding Reception around 9:30 pm and their party is in full swing. They are such a fun couple and their family and friends crushed that dance floor all night! If you look close you'll even see a few football players; from both KU and the Tennesse Titans. Enjoy!

We want to congratulate Grace and Ian Williams who braved that crazy blowing snow storm and 14 degree temperature last Saturday along with us and all of their guests to get married at the Magnolia Urban Garden in Kansas City, MO. We were honored to share such such an important day with them and to plan and take part in such a unique event... a Reverse-Wedding Celebration.

The Reception began early in the afternoon with a Grand Entrance for the entire Bridal Party, followed their first dance, cake cutting and cocktails. Brunch was then served followed by dancing and the Ceremony concluded the event early that evening. It was super-fun!

We also want to take a quick second to announce that we were just notified that The Dance Factory was just selected for the 2020 Kansas City Awards in the Nightlife Category and thank everyone for making that possible!!!
