If you were wondering where the "Marie" in Kayla Marie Photography came from, that is actually my middle name. I started interest in photography when I started to take pictures just with my cell phone. I'm just a simple girl, in love with taking pretty pictures. I would love to capture the special moments and memories that you will look back on and cherish.

I can’t even with this shoot of Mr. Teddy from summer last year 😭🐻! He is such a sweet boy and did SO good!
It took me over an hour to make this because I had to pick 28 favorites out of 120 😅 One thing I do not ever do, hold back great photos!! I love candids so much and it tells a bigger story than just smiling at me. I hope you enjoy these as much as Teddy enjoyed having his pictures taken!

The last year has been a beautiful whirlwind! I’ve been so focused on capturing your milestones and getting every single gallery delivered that I haven't spent much time here on social media!

Jennifer + Trenten

These two were so easy to get smiles out of! I’d glance down to adjust my camera, and they’d already be laughing and having the best time just being together.

This session was in March, before the blooming trees—but Burr Oak Woods is one of those places that’s beautiful no matter the season. The way the light filters through the trees and wraps around couples like this? Always a favorite 🤩

Back to things I am a little late posting! Whitney and Jack literally stole my heart from day 1 from just how they interact with each other, their unique story, how much they love out loud with their goofiness, how much they loved me, their amazing family, and I could go on and on! I am extremely honored to be apart of their story by capturing these special moments and also both their son's senior photos last summer. Jack and Whitney are like my second parents I swear, and I couldn't be more lucky for them to look at me as apart of the fam! Every moment I spent time with them was a BLAST! Thankyou to the Arnold's for having me 🥹♥️

Hi!!! Decided to bring my tripod to and take my own headshots with my brand new gear!
This girl is now a CANON mirrorless user 😭♥️ I have wanted to make this upgrade for as long as I can remember! I’m so excited for this year and what is to come!! Thankyou to everyone who is helped me get to this point 🙌🏻 I’m grateful every single day for the new opportunities coming my way. Love you all!

Katie and Gabe invited me into their lovely home to photograph the most precious moments with their new baby boy in November 🍼🫶🏻 The love, care, and thought that went into this nursery was so beautiful to witness and capture.
